Easter Weekend Recap
By Bear Lake Staff / April 18, 2017
Easter weekend at Bear Lake Reserve was a success! Here is a recap of all the fun everyone had at the lake!
On Friday we had the grand opening of our new coffee shop, The Den. Members and guests came and tried our delicious specialty coffee drinks, made by Matt!
Matt created some very fancy latte art. It was a relaxed, yet caffeinated Friday morning. 🙂
After everyone got an energy boost from coffee we went on a hike guided by Sarah and Adam. Those who went on the hike got to experience the beauty of a magnificent waterfall.
We kicked off Saturday morning with Tennis!
On Saturday afternoon we had a barbecue at the overlook. Matt cooked up some delicious burgers & dogs and Adam served drinks.
We sang Joey happy birthday and everyone socialize and have a great time. The sun was shining, the food was cooking and it was a great afternoon!
The Barbecue also double as a dog party! Woof!
Sunday morning we had a beautiful Easter Sunday service outside at the Golden Farm apatheater. We had over 60 people attend the service! This is the first service we’ve hosted at Bear Lake Reserve. The turn out and feedback was incredible, so expect more of these in the future.
Thank you to Ryan and Jenny Chamberlin for hosting the Easter service, and thank you Charlie White for singing a beautiful song.
After Easter service a buffet style brunch was served at the Lake Club.
Once again Josh and Alice did a fantastic job creating a meal that left everyone satisfied. Matt even cooked made-to-order omelets that were delicious!
After brunch the Easter Bunny showed up and hosted an Easter egg hunt for the kids!
Here is the lucky winner of the golden egg!
Guest and members spent the rest of the day adventuring on kayaks, paddle boards, jetski’s and boats around the lake.
It was a beautiful Easter weekend!
Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us. A special thank you to all our team members that went above and beyond this weekend!
